Is white the new black for Irish Ford buyers?
White is the colour of choice for Irish drivers when it comes to purchasing a new Ford, new European research from the organization has found.
It found that white has surpassed black as the most popular colour across Europe, with brown and orange the fastest growing shades.
Across Europe in general, the most popular colours are white (23%), black (20%) and grey (17%). One of these three colors was the top decision for each and every nation with the exception of Ireland, Poland and Romania, where silver - the fourth most popular colour in Europe (14%) is the preferred option.
"When it comes to car buyers tastes there are a few things that remain consistent over the years and many aspects that change and evolve," said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe. "We study these changes - and some can be surprising - in order to better serve customers across Europe."
Alex Todd Brand Manager at Its4women commented "Ford's 2014 Car Buying Trends report provides a snapshot of the diverse tastes that Ford is striving to satisfy in Europe and shows some interesting shifts in consumer preferences highlighting regional trends and national differences."
