Specialist Women's Health GPs
Female healthcare shouldn’t be difficult.
Getting expert advice on female healthcare shouldn’t be difficult. That’s why our health insurance customers in Ireland have direct access to video consultations with GPs who specialise in women’s health through Irish Life Health— from periods and birth control to menopause and pregnancy.
The female health consultation with Irish Life Health is a 20-minute video appointment with a GP who has specialist experience in women’s health. You’ll fill out a short questionnaire beforehand so the doctor can review your medial history and understand the importance of your concerns and different symptoms ahead of time. This service offers expert guidance on topics like periods, contraception, menopause, early fertility support, and more.
While it’s not a replacement for your regular GP, it’s designed to give you trusted advice on sensitive health issues. If needed, the GP may refer you for an in-person appointment — especially if physical examination or further tests are required.
Your plan may include a contribution towards the cost of these services. Terms and conditions apply. Check your Table of Cover and Membership Handbook for more details. Please note, any in-person consultations are not covered under the Female Health Consultation benefit and will incur a separate cost. However, you may have cover under a different benefit on your plan — be sure to check your Table of Cover for details.
