It’s easy! Simply scan and upload your documents to your secure online account. From here, you can monitor our progress. We estimate allowing 72 hours for documents to be processed. You will receive an email either confirming receipt of the documents or details of any outstanding issues.

All of our Premier Plus and Telematics Plus policies give you breakdown assistance in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain. T&C’s apply. Our cover includes:
Cover
Home Start Assistance
If your vehicle breaks down, we will send a recovery operator to assist you. Up to one hour’s free labour will be provided, in situ, if on the spot repairs can be made to your vehicle. If your vehicle cannot be repaired in situ, we will arrange to tow it to the nearest garage or to your own garage, if closer.
Roadside Assistance
If your vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident away from your home, we will send a recovery operator to assist you. We will provide up to one hour’s free labour at the roadside, however, if your vehicle cannot be repaired on the spot, we will arrange to tow it to the nearest garage, recovery yard or your home, if closer.
Punctures
If your vehicle suffers a puncture whilst driving, we will assist with the replacement of your vehicle’s tyre, provided you have a suitable replacement available with the vehicle.
Locked/Lost Keys
If the keys to your vehicle are lost or locked in the vehicle, we will take your vehicle to the nearest secure premises whilst endeavours are made to access the vehicle or obtain alternative keys or by you to obtain alternative keys.
Petrol Shortages
In the event your vehicle is immobilised due to a fuel shortage or the wrong fuel used, we will transport your vehicle to the nearest petrol station or garage to remedy the cause.
Mainland Europe Emergency Cover
(Cash Benefit) In the event your vehicle suffers a breakdown incident or is involved in an accident in mainland Europe, the police, when contacted by you will usually arrange for a suitable recovery agent to assist you. You will usually be asked to settle the bill at the time of the recovery. To avail of the benefits under this section, retain the invoice and forward same together with a brief description of the incident to MIS. Please note the maximum we will pay under this section is €250 or equivalent.
Message Relay
We will relay on your behalf up to two urgent messages to worried friends, relatives or employers following any unforeseen delay due to a breakdown incident.
Additional Rescue Cover
If your vehicle cannot be repaired within a reasonable period of time, we will provide either of the following benefits:
A replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours subject to availability, or;
Overnight accommodation i.e. the cost of overnight accommodation including breakfast in a local hotel whilst you wait for the repairs to your vehicle to be completed. The breakdown incident must have occurred more than 60 miles from your home. This additional cover extends to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland and the maximum we will pay in providing these additional benefits is €175 or equivalent. If you are required to settle a hotel account, please retain the receipt and forward to MIS Claims on your return. We will only be responsible for the cost of accommodation including breakfast. Any other meals, drinks or other costs will be the responsibility of the customer. The benefits in this section are only provided following a substantial mechanical or electrical breakdown.

Where do I find my No Claims Bonus?
Your No Claims Bonus is emailed to you along with your Renewal Notice 28 days before your current policy is due to expire. During this time, it will be available via your Online Portal, under the “My Documents” section.
If your policy has expired, you can access your documentation under the “My Closed Policies” section of your Online Portal.

How can I amend my policy?
If you’re an existing customer you can make quick and easy changes to your policy via the ‘Manage my policy’ section. You make changes such as update your personal information, add a driver, change your car or add a temporary vehicle.

Can I drive other cars?
Comprehensive Premier / Premier Plus
A ‘Driving Other Cars Extension’ provides third party only* cover in the event of an emergency for you, the policyholder to drive another private car which you do not own or have not hired or leased. If you are eligible for this extension, it will be outlined on your certificate of motor insurance. The following terms and conditions apply:
The vehicle is not owned by your employer or hired to them under a hire-purchase or lease agreement;
You currently hold a full European Union (EU) licence;
The use of the vehicle is covered in the certificate of motor insurance;
Cover is not provided by any other insurance;
You have the owner’s permission to drive the vehicle;
The vehicle you wish to drive is currently insured by the owner;
You are not connected in any way with the Motor or Licence Trade;
The vehicle is in a roadworthy condition, holding a valid NCT certificate; and
You still have your vehicle which it is not damaged beyond cost-effective repair;
The vehicle driven must be of the same size and cylinder capacity as the insured vehicle or alternatively no higher than a 2000cc vehicle.
This extension applies while being driven within the territorial limits and only to private passenger vehicles. It does not include:
Vans
Car - Vans
Jeep - type vehicles with no seats in the back; or
Vans adapted to carry passengers
*Third Party Only - liability to a third party for death, injury or damage to their vehicle or property.
Telematics Policy Holders
Only in the event of an emergency and provided that the policy schedule and your certificate of motor insurance says so, we will also cover you, for your liability to other people while you are driving any other private motor car which you do not own or have not hired or leased.
